Don’t miss the FENS Forum in Barcelona 2012: great science in a great venue

The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) organizes its 8th Forum of Neuroscience, the largest international neuroscience meeting in Europe, in Barcelona (July 14th-18th).

This year, the FENS and the Sociedad Española de Neurociencia (whos acts as host) have organized, for graduate students and post-doctorate investigators, the Young Investigator Training Programme (YITP), a series of exciting events for those attending the FENS Forum in Barcelona!

The programme includes summer research stays in Spanish laboratories before or after participating in the FENS forum, in which more than 90 teams are ready to welcome you. Career development courses and events such as the:
Professional development satellite symposium (July 13, 2012), focused professional skills, specifically oriented to PhD students and young post-doctoral fellows. The job fair and networking space, “Building your career” that will allow you meeting employers from industry, non-profit organizations and academia. The Meet-the-Expert Series where you can talk with the plenary lecturers in a personal context/ informal environment that offers participants a behind-the-scenes look at factors influencing the expert’s work. The programme can be fully explored at fens2012.neurosciences.asso.fr/pages/index2.php?sub=27&left=110
